My Therapeutic Approach
I use a variety of integrative therapeutic approaches from classic Rogerian, Freudian, and Jungian therapy, through to modern “third-wave” therapies such as CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behaviour Therapy), and ACT (Acceptance & Commitment therapy). I also draw from my background in psychology, from early childhood development theory to behavioural and social psychology.

This allows me to see clients from multiple perspectives and get a well-rounded view of you as a person in your context, rather than just seeing “problems” or “issues”. This also means I have a wide array of skills, techniques, and methods to support you through a variety of issues, including Anxiety, Addiction, Trauma, Relational Difficulties, Attachment disorders, Neurodivergence (particularly ADHD), Depression, and many more.

I specialise in Acceptance and commitment therapy and helping my clients to achieve a position of psychological flexibility with a focus on healing the past, living firmly in the present, and building a brighter future with work around mindfulness, values, identity, inner child work, and effective goal setting.

I believe that many behavioural and mood problems such as anxiety, depression, addiction, and self-harm are all symptoms of a deeper emotional problem and aim to seek out the root of these problems and begin to heal the wound, rather than simply address the symptoms.
